Collider's claims about IMPOSSIBREW, checked (2026)

Collider says: "Our full Unwind Blend is 400mg", set against "Social Blend, 375mg" in its comparison table (Collider vs Impossibrew).

The sources show: Not true per can. IMPOSSIBREW lists 375mg per 100ml on its nutrition table. A 440ml can holds 1,650mg. Collider set its per-can figure against our per-100ml figure. Like for like, it is 1,650mg against 400mg.

Collider says: "Less per can. Our cheapest can is from about £1.87 in a subscription bundle, against £2.125 for Impossibrew's cheapest can on subscription."

The sources show: The cans are different sizes: 330ml against 440ml. Per 100ml, Collider's own figures give 56.7p for Collider and 48.3p for IMPOSSIBREW. IMPOSSIBREW is cheaper.

Collider says: Bestseller bundle: "about £2.38 a can" against "about £2.78" (Best Impossibrew Alternatives).

The sources show: Both bundles hold exactly 7.92 litres (24 x 330ml and 18 x 440ml). Collider's costs £57.00. IMPOSSIBREW's costs £49.95, £7.05 less for the same amount of beer.

Collider says: "An independent reviewer who tried both ranked Collider top, preferring our Session IPA."

The sources show: The test is a personal blog post by James Vincent (March 2026). He scored Collider 5 and IMPOSSIBREW 4, "top spot (just)", because he preferred Collider's IPA. He called the lagers "pretty even" and wrote "I'd happily take either". A different blogger, Dave Reads, scored IMPOSSIBREW 9.2 and Collider 7.4; his page carries an IMPOSSIBREW referral link.

Collider says: "Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 817 of our own customers in on-site reviews."

The sources show: On-site reviews are collected and displayed by the brand. On Trustpilot, an independent platform, IMPOSSIBREW scores 4.4 from 1,000+ reviews and Collider 4.1 from 114. Collider claimed its Trustpilot profile on 9 October 2026. Of its 88 most recent reviews, the 17 written before that date included 15 one-star reviews, and all 71 written since were invited by Collider (read 31 October 2026).

Collider says: "Guinness 0.0 and Impossibrew Enhanced Lager share last place at about 75 calories a can." (Best Low-Calorie Alcohol-Free Beers)

The sources show: That ranking counts calories per can, so the biggest can comes last. Per 100ml, the way UK labels compare, IMPOSSIBREW starts at 12 kcal per 100ml (11.8 on the label) for its Triple Hopped IPA, and its Lager (17) has fewer calories than Heineken 0.0 (21), Peroni 0.0 (23) and Erdinger Alkoholfrei (25).

Collider says: IMPOSSIBREW lists "L-Theanine, Ashwagandha, Vitamin B1, soluble plant fibres and various plant extracts".

The sources show: IMPOSSIBREW's product page names every ingredient: L-theanine, ashwagandha root extract, magnesium citrate, citrus extract, vitamin B1 and soluble plant fibre.
