A Morrisons listing for Budweiser Zero shows 1.7g, which conflicts with the 0.1g on Tesco and Budweiser's own information site.

Why alcohol-free beer has sugar at all

Beer starts as malted grain soaked in hot water, which turns starch into sugar. Yeast normally eats most of that sugar and makes alcohol. In alcohol-free beer the yeast does less work, or the alcohol is removed afterwards, so some sugar can stay behind. Some brewers also add sugar or fruit sugar for body: Guinness 0.0 lists fructose in its ingredients.

Sugar is not the whole story

Carbohydrate and calories matter too. Per 100ml, IMPOSSIBREW Triple Hopped IPA has 2.4g carbohydrate and 12 kcal; Heineken 0.0 has 4.8g and 21 kcal; Bero has 5g and 25 kcal.
